We are currently working with a leading global Iron Ore mining company who own and operate high quality mine sites across Western Australia. We are presently recruiting for a Geotechnical Engineer.
 
The Geotechnical engineer will be responsible for planning and mapping the geological complexities of the open cut excavations whilst providing technical support to the engineering department. You will also be responsible for hands on mentoring of Junior Geotechnical Engineers.

To be considered for the position of Geotechnical Engineer you will require:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Geology / Geotechnical Engineering
•  3 - 5 years experience / 2 - 3 years open cut Geotechnical Engineering experience
• Understanding of open cut geological excavations
• Geotechnical data assessment and auditing experience
• Geotechnical Mapping and Planning
• Excellent Communication skills
• You must be an Australian resident, hold a valid visa or permanent residency
