An experienced Drill & Blast Engineer is required for a new large scale project. With the primary focus of the role to drive the development of Drilling and Blasting activities on site. Working for a large mining contractor this position provides an excellent opportunity to play a role in the start up and continual growth of this site.
Responsibilities:
Manage and ensure the daily Drill & Blast plan and ensure it is carried out according to target
Work closely with scheduling and planning teams to create short term mine designs that align with the operational focus
Manage and work to budgeting restraints
Analyse and report on production data
As a degree qualified Mining Engineer with at least 2 years operational experience this will provide an great opportunity to grow your career and provide a solid platform to work towards Senior opportunities.
