Open Cut Examiner (OCE) - Multiple Roles, Owner Operator
Position is detailed below:
- Reporting to Production Superintendent
- Statutory responsibilities of the Open Cut Examiner
- Supervisory role of driving performance
Delivering results through the effective management of mining crews
Responsible for the safety and health of all persons and equipment in and around the mining operation
Ensure application of safety systems through hazard identification and risk management
Emergency control and management
Safety inspections of surface excavation works and other legislative requirements
Requirement:
- OCE ticket
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an OCE and/or supervisor
- Undertaken formal risk management training
- Experienced Open Cut Examiner
- People management skills
- Coach and motivate production personnel
- Manage performance and provide direction and support
