Miner Driver

Mastermyne is the leading provider of underground coal mining services in Australia, with a unique market position of a full suite of capabilities. Having established a strong reputation across the Illawarra, Mastermyne is in prime position to bring on-board experienced Continuous Miner Drivers to complement a team of highly-skilled coal mining professionals.
 
Responsibilities:

• Safely mine coal and provide mine services
• Know when to stop work due to unsafe conditions.
• Ensure all work is undertaken safely with a focus on meeting or exceeding production targets.
• Requirements:
• Evidence of Competency and/or Ticket of Authorisation to operate the following equipment is highly desirable (Continuous Miner / Loader LHD / Eimco 130 or similar, Driftrunner / PJB / Ranger, Bolting Equipment).
• Experience with the use of mechanised mining methods particularly continuous miners, diesel machinery, shuttle cars, drill rigs and hand held bolters.
• Experience working in an underground mining environment where gas and outburst conditions are encountered and in the areas of secondary support and outbye services work.
