Mine Manager - FIFO 8:6 from Perth - $275k

A forward thinking mid-tier Gold mining company is currently seeking a MINE MANAGER for their key WA Open Cut Gold operation.  This is an owner operated site and is the perfect opportunity for developing your career in Mine Management.  You will be key to the success of the company and will have a wide scope of responsibility. 

Reporting to the General Manager (and acting as their 2IC) you will be responsible for:

  • Managing production
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Management of the Mining, Engineering, Geology and HSE teams
  • Technical leadership of mine design and planning
Flying direct to site you will be offered an 8:6 roster from Perth and will be staying in a great camp with a pool, tennis, squash, gym and good food!  

You bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
  • A successful track record of leadership and operational success  
  • Unrestricted QM, or ideally, 1st Class Mine Management Ticket
  • Great management skills and 'can do' approach
