A sucessful international mining company with assets throughout Australia and overseas is seeking a Resource Geologist to step into their Technical Department for one of their Open pit mines in QLD.
In this role you will be able to create, update and improve the resource model of the asset rather than juggling smaller portions of multiple assets. You will be working for a very stable operator, being rewarded with training, mentoring, salary, bonuses and career variety.
The role will be FIFO out of QLD on a 8/6 roster. You will be reporting to the Senior Resource Geologist and you will be responsible for;
- Updating resource models
- Drillhole design
- Block modeling
- Geological assistance to mine planning
To be successful in this role you will need to be;
- Degree Qualified in Geology
- Have approx 5 years experience in open cut geology
- Experience in Copper / Gold is preferable
