Electrical Designer - Major Mining Infrastructure Projects - Brisbane

• Large Bulk Materials Handling Projects
• Microstation & AutoCAD experience is essential
• EPCM Mining & Resource Projects

A major EPCM Consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to be based in Brisbane and work on major mining, materials handling projects.
Reporting to the Office Design Manager, you will produce various electrical designs, drawings, computations and reports for bulk materials handling projects from concept through to delivery of the end product ready for construction.


You will need:

• Strong AutoCAD & Microstation experience
• Relevant Electrical Engineering qualifications
• 5 + years of experience in electrical design focusing on Mining Infrastructure projects ideally on a local level
• Extensive exposure to Bulk Materials Handling facilities such as Conveyers, HV Switchgear & Substations
• Ability to work unsupervised and as a team when required
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to work within strict deadlines and then present documentation & proposals
