E&I Supervisor - Commissioning

This short term contract role, looking at completion in December, will open up future opportunities within both EPCM companies and future mining and minerals processing projects. This is the opportunity for an experienced E&I Commissioning Supervisor to make their mark within an industry that generates $50 billion annually for Australia and generating more than 85% of the countrys total commodities exports.

You will be accountable for all aspects of field electrical & instrumentation commissioning of the facilities at the project. Further responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direction and technical support for E & I field commissioning personnel to ensure a safe and timely testing of the plant areas;
  • Ensuring that all electrical regulatory bodies, site, government, safety, health and environmental procedures and standards are followed by Commissioning personnel;
  • Review of the electrical elements from final construction through construction completion and attainment of MC (mechanical completion) including workmanship, documentation from Contractors;
  • Ensure efficient execution of the commissioning process by coordinating and guiding the field E&I work crews in the check-out and testing of systems, and identify and correct deficiencies
  • Carry out other tasks assigned by the E&I Commissioning Superintendent
To be successful in obtaining this role you will need:
  • 10+ years Australian mining experience
  • WA electrical licence
  • HV switching ticket
  • Current or prior site based experience
  • Ability to start immediately, undertake a 3/1 FIFO roster and willingness to work nights when required
