HD Fitters and Leading Hands

Our client is currently seeking Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters and Leading Hands for their mining operations in the Pilbara and Goldfields regions of Western Australia. The Pilbara positions are FIFO of Perth only on an 8/6 or 2/1 roster. We also have 10/4 residential and 2/1 FIFO roles in the Goldfields region of Western Australia.

Experience required:
  • Must hold a Heavy Diesel Australian recognized Trade Certificate or a Certificate 3 in Mobile Plant mechanics which is to be sent in with your resume 
  • 12 months previous supervisory experience leading a team of HD Fitters if applying for the Leading Hand roles. 
  • Possess driver’s license, EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights, high risk license, senior first aid and completed an SSA safety test if applying for Leading Hand roles   
  • A minimum of 2 years post trade Diesel Fitting experience on Caterpillar Heavy Earth moving equipment
  • Strong hydraulics and diagnostics skills 
  • Extensive Caterpillar product knowledge 
  • Commitment to developing and maintaining a strong and dedicated safety culture
  • Have to be able to pass D/A screen and pre employment medical. 
  • Have or be able to obtain a police clearance
