Power Product Manager

Power Product Manager (Automation Sales) Ref# DS-973
Salary: $ Based on experience. Car allowance. Northern Living Allowance.
Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta
 
 
Description:  Power Product Manager represents our client’s  high technology Electrical Variable Frequency VFD (VFD’s) and Electrical Motor Control Centers (MCCs). The Product Manager supports our Industrial Sales Representatives and their account base with in-depth technical and application knowledge. Through this expertise, the successful applicant would work with a team of Product Managers to assist our Sales Representatives’ efforts to maximize our client’s automation sales and margin opportunities.
                
Education:        Electrical Technologist diploma from recognized institution or equivalent
             
Experience:       2 years previous automation product sales experience either in the field or as an inside technical support person or equivalent
             
Skills Required: Understanding our client’s power product portfolio and the ways in which these products apply to their customers’ needs. VFD and motor control application knowledge will be an asset.  Strong sales and presentation skills are a must.
             
            Strong background in automation products. Ongoing skill training on high technology products.  Must understand the O.E.M., large industrial business and be aware of industry trends.  Must be able to use AS/400 and Microsoft products to enhance this position and to communicate with others in the organization.
