Responsibilities:
- Assist and support the Project Controls Manager by developing the Resources loaded Baseline Control Schedule (BCS)
- Update the Execute Stage
- “Master Control Schedule” (MCS), integrate T&M and Lump sum Contractors’ Resource
- Loaded plans / schedules in Primavera P6 (For Detailed Engineering Procurement and Construction)
- Assist in managing key Building program schedule P6 interfaces
- Ensures appropriate physical progress measurement for the program and its projects
- Coordinates preparation of schedule risk analysis
- Understand and validate what resources are required for executing the set of activities and when activities can be performed given competing resource demands or Projects constraints
- Recognize opportunities and resource optimizations to most efficiently execute the planned set of activities
- Development of the Execute Stage BCS and updating MCS by assuring and integrating Building Program plans and schedules
- Overall coordination and assurance of Building Program planning development and control through communications with project team leaders, team members and contractors
- Timely interface of activities, Promoting risk, schedule, and awareness within the project team.
- Assist Cost Engineer and Project Controls to create project cashflows and perform periodic forecast
- Participate on the Execute stage Controlled Work Breakdown Structure creation; in order to ensure alignment between Sanctioned estimate, approved Contract Strategy, Resource Loaded BCS & MCS, EPOCH Cost Reports and Contractors’ Progress report (either for T&M and Lump Sum)
- Provide input for Schedule impact of any change order request
- Interface with procurement to provide progress status of major purchase orders
Basic Job Requirements
- BS in Engineering
- 5-7 years’ experience in Capital Project Scheduling/Controls
- Good interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the intermediate use of spreadsheets
