Automation & Control Project Engineer | Leading Electrical Automation Company

We operate in the ANZ region, supplying a number of major industries including mining, manufacturing, water and wastewater, oil and gas, food and beverage with our superior industrial electrical and automation products.

The Role:

• To carry out professional systems engineering and project management,
• In accordance with our standard operating procedures, tools and facilities.
• In a timely fashion with outcome intended to guarantee the required customer satisfaction and the required commercial result.
• To actively help refine and develop the standard operating procedures and methods with a view to greater quality, customer satisfaction and profitability.
• To attend customer sites as required to commission work as required.
• To keep up with the latest tools and techniques in the chosen profession and actively incorporate it in your work.

Some of the responsibilities during projects are:

• Project Management documentation
• Electrical design
• SCADA / HMI Programming
• PLC Programming
• Loop Calibration (I/O testing) Test and documentation
• Factory Acceptance Test and documentation
• Site Acceptance Test and documentation
• Validation and Commissioning
• See the project through its development life cycle
• Post implementation support of project

The Candidate:
You will have come from an engineering back ground with either a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an Engineering degree in (Robotics and Mechatronics)

You will have at least 2-3 years experience in a similar role, coupled with a drive to succeed in everything you do. Career progression is a huge part of this opportunity, so candidates with some sales experience as well, will be highly regarded.
