Consultant- Geotechnical Engineering


TRS are currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with a background in Mine Engineering to join a leading consultancy in Brisbane. 
 
This international consultancy provides services to both coal and hard-rock mining companies in Australia, so a background in either coal or hard rock would be considered.   Ideally applicants will come from a consultancy environment, although candidates working with producers looking at that first step towards a consultancy role will also be considered.  


This is an opportunity to work on a variety of exciting and challenging projects and will provide exposure to different mine sites and clients.  
  
Applicants should have:

• At least 4-5 years experience as a Geotechnical Engineer within the Mining Industry (consultancy or producer).
• Excellent communication skills and client facing ability
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary project teams
• Experience with using Geotechnical software packages
• Appropriate degree and other tertiary qualifications
• The role is city based in Brisbane but with some travel to site as required.  An excellent salary and benefits package will be available to the successful applicant.
