An Open Pit Superintendent is urgently required for a residential opportunity in New Zealand. This company is an mid-tier base metal producer listed on the ASX.
There is an opportunity for a motivated individual with relevant experience to lead a team of dedicated individuals at their operation on the South Island of New Zealand. Reporting to the Mining Manager the responsibilities of the Technical Services Superintendent will include:
-coordinating the Mining Operations to ensure that equipment production and utilisation of targets are achieved in a cost effective, timely and safe manner
-coordinate contractors, construction and service providers to ensure the mining operation is optimised
- responsible for statutory management of mining activities.
The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in mining and strong open cut experience.
For the role you will require a QM ticket or a first class mine managers ticket that can be recognised in New Zealand.
