My Client is a leading Mining Contractor who has successful projects in operation across Australia and overseas. The experience and service have made them a highly competitive force within their industry.
They currently require an experienced Human Resource Manager to lead the HR functions on one of their open-cut operations in Queensland. With rapid growth plans in place, you will be reporting directly to the General Manager of the project and will be responsible for providing leadership, advice and guiding across the human resource functions on site.  You will also use your HR and ER experience to develop key relationships both internally and externally to this operation as well as leading the implementation of change initiatives and continuous improvement plans.

The successful Human Resource Manager will possess:

• An extensive background working with open-cut coal mines
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a minimum of five years HRM experience
• IR and ER legislation knowledge
• Strong leadership skills

This role will see you working a 5:2 roster, with camp accommodation and meals provided a highly competitive roster and the opportunity to lead the HR functions of this site. Build on your already successful HR career within the Mining Industry, with this industry leader.
