A Senior Railway Signalling Designer is required by an established global multi discipline engineering consultancy in Melbourne, due to continued business growth and recent project awards.

This leading engineering consultancy desires an ambitious, highly motivated, Senior Signalling Designer with solid experience across, PBI, design control tables, circuit plans and signalling arrangements. 
 
The Senior Signalling Design Engineer role will consist of:

• Design and develop relevant signal engineering designs and associated documentation in accordance with client signalling practices; including signalling layouts, circuit plans and control tables etc
• Preparation of application data in accordance with client signal practices
• Understanding of interlocking systems
• Provide independent checking of signalling designs and data prepared by others  
• Assist in the commissioning of signalling systems or equipment
• Offer technical advice with regard to clients, consultants and the site teams 

A minimum of 8 years signalling design experience is sought. You will have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Electrical or Electronic) or equivalent technical experience.  Experience in the use of engineering software, including an understanding of Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) is also sought.
