Hydraulic Drafter — Building Services

This renowned engineering consultancy supply design services for various building projects including residential, commercial, education and healthcare.  Due to increased workload they require an additional drafter to join their CBD based office.
 
Employed as a Hydraulic Design Drafter you will be responsible for the drafting and documentation of hydraulics systems for a range of building projects.   This will include drainage, sanitary plumbing services, hot & cold water services and fire hydrant system design.  Your primary responsibility will be drafting hydraulic services and liaising with water authorities. 
 
The successful candidate will have: 

• Circa 2 years + experience working as a hydraulic designer / drafter 
• Extensive experience drafting Hydraulic systems including sewer, sanitary plumbing, stormwater, and water services reticulation systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with comprehensive knowledge of local standards
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with experience in dealing with suppliers and external stakeholders
• An understanding of recycled water systems, storm water drainage and Green Building Design would be a distinct advantage
