Senior Project Engineer

Senior Project Engineer Civil required to work on two iconic port expansions. Here is the chance to work for a contracting company who have almost doubled in size in the last 3 years and will continue to grow as more large civil projects are won.

This thriving and respected contractor are looking to increase their workforce as they have just secured numerous civil mining projects in WA and so have an immediate requirement for a Senior Project Engineer. If you have extensive experience in planning, organising, supervising, reviewing and evaluating engineering staff you have the chance to join an coming construction company. 

The right candidate for the role will have demonstrable track record of:

  • Assist development control of the schedule for their facilities
  • Managing, mentoring and developing a diverse team of construction staff 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills                                                                                                                             
  • Strong management skills 
  • Working within the provisions and guidelines of Quality Assurance systems
  • Being able to approach project tasks analytically and logically
  • Responsibility for personal safety and working within the OHS&W procedures
  • Career Progression

As an ideal candidate you will possess:
  • Tertiary engineering qualifications.
  • Ability to assess project risks and understand associated contingencies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prepare budgets and forecasts
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Minimum 4 years experience on contracting projects
  • Minimum 1 years experience as Senior Project Engineer
  • Experience engineering design tasks required in performing project conceptual, FEED, detailed design and construction
  • Ability to undertake design and engineering of concepts
  • Strong working ethos 
  • Motivation to progress within the company
