Project Controls Manager

An innovative and highly-regarded EPCM consultancy is pleased to announce an opening for an experienced Project Controls Manager to work on a $1 Billion Non-Process Infrastructure Project in WA. On offer is market-leading rates of pay and a 24-month contract with scope for career progression.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Directing the KPIs for all project areas(Engineering, Contracts, Materials and Procurement etc)
  • Monitoring EPCM team performance and handling of cost and planning issues
  • Collating precise reports in order to identify potential issues and mitigating risk to the project
  • Carrying out optimisation studies and cost benefit analyses to enhance project performance
  • Reviewing and approving all cost forecasts and progress reports

Based on site, you will be responsible for Project Controls within the EPCM team. This includes all estimating, planning and cost control function which are vital to ensure the timely delivery of this $1 Billion Non-Process Infrastructure Project. 

The successful candidate will have:
  • 8 years + experience in a project control management role, working on a large EPCM or Client Team project
  • A Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline (Engineering)
  • Supplementary qualifications such as an MBA would be highly desirable but not a prerequisite
  • Sound experience and knowledge of planning, cost control, contract and procurement systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
