Senior Resource Geologist - Darwin

Our client is one of the world's leading engineering, architecture and environmental consulting companies. Globally they serve clients across a broad range of markets e.g. Energy, Environment & Resources. 

  
Their ongoing success in NT means they are now looking to expand their Darwin based Energy and Resources Business. They are seeking a Geologist to develop core business opportunities in mineral resources and mining.
  
The role will incorporate the following key responsibilities:

• Assessment of deposits through concept, feasibility and production stages
• Provision of geological input to short-term and long-term mine planning and operations personnel
• Technical input including JORC compliant resource estimates;conducting independent reviews and technical audits; and contribution to preliminary field studies and investigative exploration activities
• Identifying and developing business opportunities with new and existing clients
• Delivering on projects to align with client expectations

The successful applicant will possess at least 5 years experience with strong project management skills and a client service delivery focus. Extensive experience in one or more of iron ore, manganese, gold, uranium, rare earths, phosphate or copper, as well as a high level of familiarity with geological modelling software and geological modelling is essential.
