Mechanical Shut Down Planner

Our Client is one of Australia's largest mining companies with one site located at Newman Area C in the Pilbara. WorkPac are recruiting for 2 x experienced shut down Planners To work on an initial casual basis with the potential to go permanent.

 
Working on a FIFO Roster on a 8/6 from Perth and Reporting to the Alt Planning Superintendent, you will be responsible for the planning of work within the Mechanical Shutdown as identified in the scope of works and in line with the SAP Master Data requirements and Site Work management processes. This site has a 12 weekly plan cycle for 6 weekly shut downs. 2 roles exist; 1 x Ore Handling Plant Planner and another for the Stockyard looking after train load out reclaimer.

 
To be successful in this role you will have experience in working with Mechanical Shutdown Planning and be proficient in the use of SAP.


You will be a solid team player and carry out daily duties including:

• Liaise with relevant employees & contractors to ensure accuracy of planning information and correct interpretation of work and the associated critical requirements.
• Ensure all Resources, Services, Specials tools and equipment are considered and captured in SAP task lists and work instructions.
• Capture the identified Materials & Consumable requirements in SAP and manage lead time and escalation as required.
• Ensure that all Critical tasks & Activities identified during review and Flagged.
• Ensure all Procurement is undertaken in compliance to site Procurement requirements.
• Manage Work Orders in SAP as required.
• Support Work order activities required during transition from JDE XE to SAP.
• Support Project & Work Order close-out activities
