Role
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for the overall production of crawler systems. You will coordinate and oversee the activities of the technical team consistent with quality standards and key performance indicators. Working in conjunction with the design and marketing teams to develop new products and maintain high standards in existing products. Initiating and authorizing all product and technical investigations, including warranties, for the company. Control, authorise and distribute all divisional melting and handling procedures.

Role Requirements

• Trade (metallurgy) or engineering diploma
• Proven experience in foundry (non-ferrous steel) production
• Sound knowledge of heavy industrial furnaces, smelters and castings
• Ability to steer and lead a closely knit team
• Core philosophy of adhering to Occupational health and safety policies - ISO 9001-2000
