Job Description

• This role will initially start at team leader level and progress to factory manager
• Manage 20 staff on the factory floor and three team leaders
• Coordinate all production with the planning team
• Increase plant efficiency and throughput
• Minimise waste across the plant
• Reduce the changeover time for each of the lines
• Conduct and drive lean projects across the site

The Successful Applicant
Must have experience with managing staff on a factory floor. Ideally the candidate will have experience with Glass Reinforced Plastics. My client is looking for an individual who can influence others across the site and steer operators in the right direction to reduce downtime and increase overall productivity.
 
The candidate will need to demonstrate, using examples, process improvements, in particular a project that reduced plant changeover times. The equipment on site is not fast moving so an individual with a strong engineering focus will do well in the role.
