Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £22000 - £30000

We are recruiting for a geotechnical engineer to be located In the Surrey area.

Candidates must have a Civil Engineering academic background with further post graduate studies in a Geotechnical field and it would be advantageous for you to be working towards to a part of a professional status.

It is essential you can demonstrate your technical ability to deliver geotechnical designs for various projects which include ground works, foundations, slope stability and site investigation. Further to this you will have active experience undertaking desk studies and producing technical reports necessary to the project.

Typical duties include:

- Foundation design
- Gravity embedded retaining wall design
- Piling analysis
- Site investigation analysis
- Conceptual and detailed Geotechnical Design using recognised software
- Interpretive report writing
