Senior Mining Engineer

• [Company] . is currently seeking a Sr. Mining Engineer for the Denver office. This individual will:
• Be a responsible leader in the Mining group based in Denver, CO. Be capable of producing Underground stope designs and ore haulage systems, selecting mine equipment, working with ventilation models from Geology model and metals pricing as required by government and financial regulations. This includes drafting skills to design ramps and stopes, writing skills to be able to produce a high quality report. In the long term be capable to sell additional work to other clients and then deliver using junior staff and your experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Mining or closely related field; Master Degree preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience in Mine Design.
• Experience to assist with QP for UG/OP mining sections to meet client’s needs.
• Understand the economics involved in the mining business. Reasonable level of understanding  for mentoring others, experience around mining equipment and skills.
