ERZ Controller

As a market leader in the Australian coal mining industry, Mastermyne is currently seeking Explosion Risk Zone (ERZ) Controllers to supervise and lead crews to ensure safety performance on a major project in the north-central Bowen Basin.
 
Responsibilities:
Safely mine coal and provide mine services by supervising and leading a crew to ensure safety performance is at the highest level within an area of a mine.
Monitor, control and manage the workplace environment, work crews, machinery performance without compromising the safety of the work crew members or other workers in the ERZ Controller’s District.

Requirements:
First, Second and Third Class Certificate of Competency (ERZ Controller) coupled with proven experience in a similar role.
Experience working in an underground mining environment where gas and outburst conditions are encountered.
