Diesel Mechanic

Salary:  Neg

Our Client is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic on their open cast mining site located in the Mpumalanga area.

Duties

• Minimum N3 qualification
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic (completed trade test with a valid Red Seal)
• 2 – 4 years post apprenticeship experience, preferably in the mining industry                                               
• Have thorough knowledge of hydraulic electronic diagnostics on all types of  earthmoving machinery
• BEE preferred
• Opencast exp                            
• Must have a valid South African driver's license and their own vehicle
• Must be a South African citizen                                                                                         
• Must be willing to work overtime
• Must be willing to work shifts

Duties

• Identify potential or current mechanical failures;
• Complete inspections and site visit reports;
• Focus on health and safety standards;
• Handle mechanical break downs;
• Do mechanical plant maintenance.
