Brazen Recruitment has established itself as one of Australia's leading recruitment consultancies within the Quarrying / Mining space through the consultative commitment to  both clients and candidates. We currently have a number of existing relationships and preferred supplier agreements with key employers within this field and we are currently looking for expressions of interest from experienced Quarry Managers and Site Senior Executives.


Responsibilities:

• Manage the Quarry to ensure the agreed production targets, goals and objectives are achieved
• Provide a safe and supportive workplace
• Management of SHE systems
• Site development in line with the Quarry Development Plan 
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies and implement changes 
• Ensure site compliance with relevant environmental legislation and Company policies 

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Extractive Industries 
• Proven ability in managing a quarry or mining operation 
• Shot Firers Ticket
• Knowledge of Safety Management Systems 
• Sound communication skills  
• Strong numerical ability

To be successful in these roles you will need to have, sound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations (OH&S Act, Environmental Protection Act, Mineral Resources and Sustainability Act, Dangerous Goods Act and regulations, Extractive Industries Sustainable development regulations, Electrical Safety Act).
