This owner operator has two operational mines in New South Wales and are experiencing an exciting growth period. Job Description
Senior Production Engineer reports to the Underground Manager and has responsibility for management of Production Engineers and mentoring Graduate Engineers which includes reviews, discipline and other aspects such as organising leave. Day to day responsibilities include:

• Managing a 13 week schedule
• Daily planning and monitoring of production targets
• Overseeing drill and blast and charge design plans and facilitating them
• Providing the link between daily production and the 12 month plan
• This position is available on a 5/2 roster, residential
• Accommodation provided in the local mining town which has an excellent set up and caters for all.

The Successful Applicant
It is essential to demonstrate a good level of production experience in underground mining in Base Metals. It is imperative for the successful candidate to fit into the culture of the business and work within a tight-knit team, have ambitions to progress and be able to competently and confidently manage the Engineers effectively.
