Based just outside of Singleton in the Hunter Valley, this coal mining operation produces just under 10 million tonnes ROM of coal per annum. My Client is contracted to perform all mining activities undertaken on site and also supplies all mining equipment.

A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join this operation and take up the opportunity to further develop their career within a globally recognised organisation. Reporting directly to the Electrical Supervisor on site, this role will see you providing support to both facilities and mining equipment on site in the areas of both breakdown and service work.

The following experience is required:

• Strong fault finding skills
• Ability to rectify complex electrical faults
• Strong communication skills
• Experience derived from a similar role
• Maintenance experience derived from working with Siemens AC Electrical Drive Systems
• Experience derived from working with Hitachi and Liebherr mining equipment
• Current Electrical Workers License
• High Voltage Certification
