Job Description
Reporting to the engineering manager, you will be tasked with the following:
  • Utilise reliability principles and methods to drive asset availability on site and therefore decreasing downtime.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within the business to achieve goals and overcome challenges.
  • Attend weekly and monthly maintenance meetings.
  • Take control and maximise results in ongoing and new reliability projects.
  • Perform critical asset studies and provide report accordingly to maintenance teams.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in securing this role as Reliability Engineer, you should possess:
  • Tertiary qualification in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
  • Strong background in operational mining preferably in gold industry.
  • Competence in utilising CMMS and reliability tools.
  • Proven track record in applying reliability principles and methodologies in the work place eg. RCA / RCM / 5Y / Kaizen
  • Project Management experience desirable
  • Excellent communication skills.
