Senior Mine Geologist – Underground

Our client owns and operates a diverse, multi commodity portfolio of projects across Australia, from exploration stage through to construction and operating mines. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Mine Geologist – Underground for one of their Western Australian operations.

The Senior Mine Geologist will report directly to the Geology Manager, and will be also be his second in command, offering a great opportunity for increased responsibility and career development.

To be considered for this role, it is anticipated you will have the following skills, attributes and education:

• Degree qualified in Geology or equivalent
• Significant experience in an underground mining environment
• Proven ability in supervision and mentoring of staff
• Leadership qualities
• Excellent communication skills 
• Experience with Surpac and MWP
• A proven track record in safety 
• Knowledge of the WA MSIA&R. 

An excellent salary package and working conditions are on offer with a roster of 9:5 days, FIFO from Perth or other capitals considered.
