Tasks

• The Robotic Press Cell Specialist will setup and operate multiple Dorst presses using robotic unload technology.  This will be a dynamic cell that will set and meet production goals through interaction with management and support groups.  Simple maintenance will be performed to keep the equipment in outstanding operational condition in order to meet all goals.
• Proficiently set up and run all products on Dorst presses within prescribed set up times, create and maintain programs for the Manz robotic unload automation, exhibit a high level of participation in a team-based Lean work environment, perform basic functions within a Windows computer system, perform all necessary preventive and Total Productive Maintenance task as determined, train new team members in all facets of the position, work in a 24/7 operations, achieve assigned goals for productivity, product scrap, tool breakage reduction, etc., maintain a safe and clean work environment per all plant policies and the 5S program.

Requirements

• Requires the ability to use simple math, read blueprints, use basic measuring instruments and keep and understand necessary records. Will require one to three years’ experience setting up and operating a variety of compacting presses to perform duties in a minimum acceptable manner. High School Diploma or Equivalent.
