Sales Representative

Position Summary:

• Responsible for promoting the sale of construction materials in the Colorado Springs/Pueblo area market and cultivating new customers that accept Martin Marietta as their "Supplier of Choice". Develop and sustain a business strategy designed to gain or protect market share. Provide technical service to MMM customers, lead the Marketing and Sales efforts and monitor quality and performance of the products within the territory.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associate's degree or equivalent experience required
• 3+ years of experience in the construction materials industry
• Excellent customer service skills; strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and able to balance shifting priorities to meet deadlines; strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Possess a general knowledge of construction and A & C products and a solid understanding of market, competition and business opportunities
• Proficient with Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
