Asphalt Paving Foreman

Position Summary:

• Manage and coordinate the daily asphalt laydown crew on placing spec asphalt on assorted heavy highway paving projects with a safety first style. Communicate closely with the operations manager and asphalt plant personnel. Maintain positive communications with customers, crew, and state inspectors.
• Responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and securing of company assets. Complete required daily and monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or equivalent GED required; college degree, trade school in asphalt/construction management or equivalent field experience preferred
• 2-5 years minimum experience with hands-on heavy highway asphalt paving
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office
