QA/QC Inspector

WYN Recruitment is currently seeking a QA/QC Inspector to work closely with the QA/QC Coordinator across a major mining project on the East Coast of Australia. This is an opportunity to join a Global EPCM and be involved with this trademark and challenging project where you will draw on your experience and knowledge to ensure all work carried out meets industry standards. Our client is offering the chance to work on a long term multi billion project which will enhance career progression opportunities. 


Due to an urgent requirement from a top tier client, WYN Recruitment require you to hit the ground running on this brown field project offering a 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension. Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role working on large scale projects. 


You must be able to demonstrate the following:

• A minimum of 5 years EPCM experience 
• A minimum 8 years experience as a QA/QC inspector 
• CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector or WTIA 
• Excellent communication skills and able to meet stringent deadlines 
• Excellent knowledge and a solid understanding of all aspects of construction welding, welding processes and applications 
• A solid background working on mining and oil and gas projects

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Overseeing all quality work performed by all contractors on site including pipelines, fabrications and repair work 
• Inspecting some painting and coating work carried out 
• Monitoring all welding activities 
• Monitoring QA/QC documentation
