Leading Hand - Solomon & Christmas Creek

  • $60 - 65 (hourly)

The leading hand will be running an onsite build crew with the focus on the assembly and commissioning of new machines on site. The successful candidate will require the following:
 
Essential Criteria:
  • Requires excellent fault finding skills
  • Able to work competently unsupervised
  • Able to organise work teams and delegate tasks
  • applicant must be a qualified heavy duty Plant Mechanic
  • Sound knowledge of Caterpillar literature and work order systems
  • Able to solve problems practically

Essential Site requirements:
  • Trade certificate HD Fitter or
  • Plant mechanics
  • Elevated work platform
  • Forklift licence
  • Working at heights
  • Senior First Aid
  • Driver's licence
  • Licence to perform high risk work
Applicants will demonstrate:
  • Ability to provide positive leadership, manage people & resolve conflict
  • A neat and organised approach to work and reporting procedures
  • Dedicated commitment to Safety & Quality Assurance Policies
  • Willingness to customer satisfaction
