Mechanical Manager / Mechanical Coodinator

They have recently been awarded a contract for the installation of mine infrastructure in a new site. This site has been under construction for 2 years, outside of Emerald in the Bowen Basin. 
 
They are recruiting for an Mechanical Coordinator to manage all the technical mechanical aspects of the work.  Scope of work is predominantly conveyors and initial mine services setup including substations, dewatering stations, communications, lighting and road paving. 
 
You will  work on the opposite rotation to the Electrical Coordinator and the role description includes:

• Reporting to the Project Manager
• Planning of mechanical installation items and procurement of required
• Schedule updates and creation
• Ensure targets are met on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Attendance in contract meetings
• Liaise with client regarding progress
• Will be involved in the management of site trainers, co-ordination of yardsmen etc
• On time and on budget project delivery  
• All employees are accommodated in brand new high quality camp on site and salary sacrificed arrangements are available for employees looking to fly themselves in and out of Emerald.

 
Candidates can earn circa $218k package and the roster is 7/7.
