Operations Manager

We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced operations manager to work within the construction & utilities sector for a contractor based in Victoria.  The majority of the work will be focused around gas distribution projects although there will also be a number of underground electrical projects too.  Experience having worked  on both these types of projects are essential as well as operating in the distribution networks of either a contractor or a utility company.
 
We are looking for an experienced individual who is currently in a similar operations based role  managing both gas and electrical projects throughout VIC.  If you are a senior PM looking to take the next step up in your career then this may also be an opportunity worth looking at.
 
As the operations manager, you will be expected to run multiple projects and ideally have a good understanding of the utility networks within VIC.  It is essential that you are able to demonstrate a proven track record in program and project management of gas and electrical works, as well as budgetary controls and work planning.  You will also have a good business background and be able to manage existing client relationships as well as developing new ones.
 
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a busy contractor who have an abundance of work in VIC ,as well as interstate.  You will be running your own business unit in what is proving  to be a very busy sector with ongoing work, even in challenging times.   The remuneration package on offer will include base, super and a full maintained motor vehicle.
