Service Engineer

The Service Engineer’s role includes travelling to customer sites or the purpose of installing, troubleshooting and repairing as well as auditing the customer’s OEM equipment.
 
The Service Engineer is responsible or providing recommendations to the customer in order to utilise the equipment to its design potential. This involves the regular inspection and analysis of Inbye equipment in order to improve equipment operation; provide maintenance and repair solutions through either technical or practical support or by the acquisition of spare parts. The Service Engineer must provide accurate reports to the customer regarding any issues or observations that may cause downtime or loss of production.
 
The Service Engineer is responsible for:

• The provision of service support for Inbye OEM equipment through troubleshooting and resolution of moderate to complex application problems including but not limited to operation, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical areas
• Provision of assistance with corrective and preventative maintenance work on equipment
• Planning of maintenance tasks, auditing equipment and providing accurate reports and recommendations or the acquisition or purchase of spare parts
• Supervision, assistance and commissioning of new or refurbished equipment prior to despatch
