Mechanic (Mobile)

Job Description:          

• Currently seeking highly motivated team player who is an experienced heavy duty diesel truck technician in the Truck and Trailer division of [Company] Southwest. Must have a clean driving record, a current CDL, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in bumper to bumper maintenance and repairs. Duties include performing PM's, DOT inspections, repair, recondition, and service all makes and model diesel trucks. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair malfunctions and failures of cooling systems, brakes, climate control, electrical, structural, drive train, engines systems, and their components.

Requirements:

• Must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions as needed. Communicate verbally and in writing, information, instructions and explanations to associates, customers, and management regarding vehicle/component/equipment conditions, problems, recommendations, and repair processes. Basic computer and internet knowledge is required, as well as knowledge in operating scanning/diagnostic tools.
