High Voltage Electrician - Boggabri Coal Mine Project

Komatsu currently has a position available for an appropriately qualified High Voltage Electrician at the Boggabri Coal Mine project approximately 45Klms north of Gunnedah in NSW. This is not a FIFO position. Personnel will assist in maintenance and repairs to all equipment covered under our maintenance and repair contract working alongside & assisting site employees. This will include 17X 930E-4 trucks, a PC4000-6 hydraulic excavator and some ancillary plant.

Employees must have the appropriate trade certificate & qualifications required for High Voltage machinery. The site requirements are to have or be able to obtain a ticket for forklift, working at heights and elevated work platform. Units of competencies S1, S2 & S3 or similar in OH&S & Senior First Aid will be required but not essential in applying for the position.

Experience in 930E trucks, auto-electrical and air-conditioning maintenance will be highly regarded.

Terms and conditions of employment will be as per the exclusive agreement prepared for Komatsu employees at the Boggabri Coal project of which specific details will be discussed at time of interview. The selected personnel will be required to reside in the Namoi Coal area. The shift cycle is a 5 day panel roster with day/night shift & suitable overtime requirements within the Komatsu Australia Fatigue Management Policy.
