Heavy Equipment Technician - Field Service

Description:

A Heavy Equipment Technician experienced in repairing mining and/or construction equipment is needed to join a growing company in the Edmonton area. The successful candidate will work mostly at the facility in St. Albert, as well as various customer locations across Alberta &Â BC performing maintenance, repair, and rebuilding various types of heavy equipment. Mechanics must also be able to diagnose faults and repair or replace all defective equipment parts, components or systems. You may be required to travel for extended periods of time and will be fully compensated to do so. The ideal Mechanic must have excellent customer service skills and a valid driver's license with a clean abstract. A Heavy Equipment Technician Certification coupled with extensive industry experience is required for this role. Preference will be given to Technicians with dealership training with off-road equipment.

Compensation:

• $34.00 - $38.00/hour.
• There will be a $2.00/hour bonus for field work, along with a competitive benefits plan which is offered after the probationary period of 3-months.

Shifts:

• Days, Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to work any hours as required
