Underground Mining Engineer

Our client is an established Western Australian nickel producer with wholly owned and operated underground operations. This large mine site has experienced an excellent growth path and is now looking for an underground Mining Engineer to join their successful operation.

Your main responsibilities will include all aspects of drill and blast and ventilation as well as assisting the team with short term scheduling and mine design. Further on you will be involved with the mine planning department to assist with the planning of de watering systems. You will be working with a small but highly competent team in a dynamic working environment and will be required to demonstrate exceptional communication, interpersonal and influencing skills and be an effective team player.

To be successful in this role you will need to have proven experience in Mining Engineering and planning. Having completed your underground time is highly desirable. This role provides excellent career opportunities for the right person.
