Senior Environmental Scientist

Salary: £18000 - £20000

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a junior environmental scientist to join an industry leading company specialising in remediation services in their offices in Leeds. Our well established client is looking to recruit a graduate with a degree in Geosciences, Environmental Science or another closely related subject.

This position will require a large amount of time spent on site using a hands-on approach; taking soil samples and supervising sub-contractors. Your responsibilities will also include interpreting lab results and writing up reports, therefore good technical writing skills are essential.

Suitable candidates will have a degree in a relevant discipline and will be familiar with contaminated land and remediation; ideally you will also have a masters in a related subject. The successful applicant will be passionate about environmental science and will demonstrate a strong desire to work within the field of contaminated land remediation.
