Plant Supervisor - Brownwood

Job Description

• The Plant Supervisor will be involved in the daily activities of the plant and yard operations. This position will focus specifically on safely and efficiently overseeing the shipping and scale functions of an 8M+ ton aggregate facility and will manage a workforce of approximately 20+ employees.  Duties also include product inventory management (production and sales), customer service, and interaction with internal sales force to effectively meet customer needs.  The candidate must have strong communication skills to interact with a central dispatch team, Heritage Logistics, quality control team and others to ensure effective distribution of products.
• Additional duties may include filling in for other members of the management team as needed to oversee other aspects of the operation.  This position is a 1st shift position; however, it includes Saturdays as needed.

Required Skills

• College degree not required, but helpful.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the aggregate industry management. 
• Must have a track record of successful leadership in the aggregates operations. 
• Must exemplify strong coaching skills to encourage safe behaviors. 
• Must be a self-starter and work independently without direct supervision.  
• Must have a strong work ethic. 
• Must be dependable, reliable, conscientiousness, detail oriented, good communicator and function as a team player.
