About our Client
Our client is a global leader in measurement equipment and instrumentation to a range of industries worldwide. With a customer base the spans the mining and resources, power, chemical, food and beverage industries they hold a strong position within the market. Due to continued growth within the Queensland market they are now looking to appoint an experienced Sales Engineer who can contribute to the ongoing growth of the business.

Job Description
The Sales Engineer will drive this proven product range to an ever expanding client base, specifically within the mining sector. This will entail relationship building within new market segments and organisations previously untouched by the client, instigating initial contact, thoroughly presenting and demonstrating a specific product range and ultimately increasing market share. The culmination of these activities will lead to increased brand awareness within a competitive market coupled with subsequently increased profitability.

The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Background in instrumentation, control and measurement equipment, or electrical trade qualifications
• Exposure to, and established relationships within the QLD Mining industry
• Proven track record in a sales environment
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Open to site travel up to 1 week of the month
