Senior Structural Engineer

Our client is driven by a reputation for excellence throughout the design and construction industry. They have been offering high quality, cost effective design and drafting solutions and have extensive experience in the mining industry, providing comprehensive drawings for the majority of Pilbara Iron mine sites in Western Australia.  


Due to consistent and sustained growth our client is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team with the opportunity to undertake site visits. You will be joining a busy engineering team on a variety of projects related to the mining and heavy industrial sector.  


Duties:
  • Preparation of preliminary and detailed designs, specifications and documentation for structural engineering project work
  • Liaise with the design and drafting team to produce high quality, detailed design documentation and ensure project goals are met
  • Engineering design support from concept through to implementation  

Experience:
  • Engineering Degree in Civil/Structural
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience working for a mining consultancy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with SpaceGASS design software
  • Proven ability working in a small civil / structural team
