Contracts Administrator - Contract - Interior Fit Out

Our client is a leading upper third-tier head contractor with a first class reputation and a solid pipeline of work from a loyal and expanding client base.
 
Operating across Commercial fit out and refurbishment sectors, with exposure to a diverse range of projects and the ability to tackle the small to mid size projects to $10 mil in value, this organisation continues to be competitive in this tightening market and have a number of new projects starting across the Sydney area.
 
The successful acquisition of a major retail project in Sydney has left my client in need of a Contracts Administrator for an initial 6 month contract. 
 
As Contracts Administrator you will be placed on a development programme which will encompass time spent within the Estimating department as well as other facets of the business. With excellent mentoring and guidance you will develop a broad range of capabilities which will enable you to progress within the company.
 
Key Responsibilities 

• Assisting with the financial aspects and managing sub-contract packages for projects
• Overseeing  multiple refurbishment or fitout projects valued between $250k and $10m.
• Reporting into a Project Manager, you will be working closely with site and office teams

Skills and Experience

• 2 years experience  as Contracts Administrator for a commercial builder.
• Good knowledge of the Sydney market including sub contractors.
• Ability to communicate with sub contractors and clients
• You should have plenty of initiative and be goal-oriented keen to work as a team and have the drive to get the things done.
