Shotfier/Shortfirer Assistant

• Senior Shotfirers, Shotfirers & Shotfirers Assistance required
• Roster is 7 on 7 off located in the Bowen Basin
• $100k package plus Superannuation - DIDO

The Company: 
This company is one of Australia's fastest growing contracting companies to the mining industry. They have been building a strong team to deliver on the many drill blast projects. All of their drills and support equipment are latest technology, with projects in WA and the Bowen Basin in QLD.

Skills and Experience:

• Instructing crew on correct procedures of blast preparation
• Providing technical knowledge to crew and planning staff
• Ensuring the safety of the blast and crew members
• 2 years experience in the Mining environment
• Demonstrated work history of safe and effective blast techniques

Qualifications:

• QLD Shotfirer Licences/Certificate
• S1, S2, S3
• Current Coal Board Medical
• HR Drivers Licence
• Generic Coal Induction Competencies
